Letter to V.M. Jones

Dear V.M Jones

Hello, I’m Teva Tait, My school is Parkvale School, and I’m writing a letter to you about Buddy.

I liked your book, Buddy. Very interesting and very emotional too.

Suzanne, she’s a bit weird.

I loved the chapter “The end of the race” When Josh wheels Jakey (Cute name!) in his wheelchair through the finish line.

You described and surprised, and even astonished my class.

Sincerely, Teva Tait.

Licked (my end).

Wow dad was holding up.
time for my secret weapon...
“3... 2... 2...” I whispered to myself, then pulled out dad’s fly swap and swatted my plate.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNDRRREEEEEEWWWWW!” says Dad.
“Y-y-y-yes?” I stammered.
“USE YOUR MANNERS, ANDREW!” says Dad.
“YOUR SON IS SO ROTTEN!” says Mr Spinks.
“YOU SHALL NOT GET A PROMOTION, SINCE YOUR SON IS SO ROTTEN!” says Mr Spinks.
“B-b-b-b-but” says dad.
“BUT NOTHING!” says Mr Spinks.
“ANNNNNNDRREEEEWWWWW!” says dad.
“You broke your promise na na na na na!” I say.
“3 2 1” I think to myself.
“YOU’RE GROUNDED FOR...” Dad said as I waited for the dreadful word.
“Zero days!” I say, quickly interrupting him.
“NO, 10 WEEKS!” Dad says.
“WHAT, NO, NO, NO, NO,” says Mum.
“One day,” says mum.
“BUT!” says dad.
“No buts,” Mum says like Spinks said.
“Because, he made you break his promise,” says Mum.

WALT: Persuasive writing

Dear: Room Blog viewers

Don’t throw away too much plastic, Room 20!

Please don’t throw away plastic, reasons are below.

1. Plastic is useful, like a milk bottle, could be your new plastic cup!
2. Plastic could cause a disaster if you don’t recycle it, like the Pacific garbage patch
could become... HUGE.
3. You can make fun projects, art, games, and even good presents!
